Egyptian Blue
This bluejay, shot in the same light as the iron feeder, was added to the scene using a special masking and blending technique taught by Jai Johnson. I grounded the bird by using a burn brush to create shadows beneath the feet and talons. Background textures were chosen to mirror the light/shadow of the original images and add visual interest. Topaz Impression provides the finished work with a painterly look.
