Sonoma Strong
Sonoma Strong
The charred remains of a tree, surrounded by blackened manzanita, on a trail in Sugarloaf Ridge State Park in Sonoma County. 80% of the park burned during the catastrophic wildfires last October. Now the grasses and wildflowers are taking hold in the burn areas. "Sonoma Strong" has been the region's motto while enduring and recovering from the distaster.

That was a terrible fire. We had friends who had to evacuate. Dramatic capture and storytelling image.
