This is one I am not familiar with Heidi. It is a beautiful bird. They sure do like that fence to sit on don't they. I love the dof of the other fence and the snow in the background. Colors are gorgeous, your details let us enjoy the birds features.Another wonderful pose and another beautiful picture Heidi.

Thank you, Frank. It is a type of woodpecker. They are quite fun to watch as they are characters. Some find them annoying because they peck at anything metal during mating season, usually loud and usually at 5 in the morning....
