The beach at Kawailoa Bay at Maha'ulepu, on the south shore of Kauai. Even at this tropical location, the sunlight is distinctly lower in the winter months, making for better midday shooting conditions. This is an advantage at this beach in particular, since the access to it closes at 6pm year-round.

Excellent composition Martha I Like that you included the tree and did not shoot it without it, also love the color and motion in the water, top it off with the wonderful puffy clouds and blue sky!! Very peaceful and beautiful capture!!
