Spidah
This photo was taken in Downeast Maine so, the title is "spidah" rather than "spider." I believe it is a goldenrod crab spidah). It was camouflaged in a flower. Shot with a zoom lens while on a hike. I didn't have my macro with me. Notice the stance with the legs in the air. I think he was trying to make himself look bigger and scarier. Spiders are as afraid of us as we are of them. I've actually had spiders try to hide while I was trying to photograph them.

Love his markings! He/she will blend nicely in that flower.

Thanks for commenting! I've seen these spiders in yellow flowers and they are really tough to see!
