History Repeats


	History Repeats I was waiting outside of Lincoln's home when I saw there three re-enactors walk up to the corner and stopped to talk. Of course I grabbed the opportunity to capture the scene. I was later surprised to find a historical picture up for auction that is so similar to this scene, I am sure this will look staged to some. However....this was purely a case where history repeated itself. R. J. Laudenbacher

You've done such fine work on this series, Becky. Seeing the auction picture after you photographed the scene above is what I call an "echo" moment.
Example: at 3 A.M., the song "Stormy Weather" (and only that song) popped into my head while I was typing comments. Shortly after, I saw a bp friend's photo for today. Its title: "Stormy Weather." Echo time.
Your photo is not the echo ~ it came first for you. And it's a terrific capture, like all the others in your series. Can't wait to see what the judges do with so many medal-worthy photos.
