Wonderful nostalgic photo, Laura! Oddly enough, I did not have that experience as a kid... I grew up in the heart of Chicago and it's not the way it was. Now however, I DO know the mail-woman pretty well -- ! No milkman, though. There is a food-delivery guy (Swan) who always waves! Cool thing about these small towns; I don't think they've changed that much! I do love these vintage figures, though. And they do represent another, kinder Era. Great shot!

Yep! Not bad for a major metropolitan city! I spend a lot of time gardening in my front yard so we say hi every time I see him. He gives the mail to Lily (my pup) and she brings it into the house for me! LOL!
