Do I need any special imaging software to take this class?
You'll need an image editing software program that can process D3 or D700 files. Incidentally, Adobe Camera Raw updates - for later versions of Photoshop and Elements - support the D3/D700.

What about skill level. These are high-end cameras, and I don't want to be lost just because I'm not a pro.

I have a Nikon D3S. Can I benefit from this course?
Yes, indeed! Although the course material applies to the D3 and D700, most of the concepts, modes and functions also apply to the D3s. However, questions may come up that are specific to the D3S, so feel free to ask the instructor. Tony is very knowledgeable about all of Nikon's pro DSLRs and will be happy to help you. Such give-and-take is a great benefit of BetterPhoto's interactive courses!
