Course Outline

Week 1: Getting the Ducks in a Row ... Settings, Menus, ISOs, and Technique!
There are many menu options, however, that can be a bit daunting and their usefulness can be questionable or very specific. Actually, many of the menu items are not utilized by professional photographers. In this first lesson, Tony will guide you through the most important functions and the recommended settings.

Week 2: White Balance, Easy movies, Live View, and Retouch Menu Part 1
Learn more how to take the best creative advantage of your D800/D800e. You'll become familiar with White Balance (including the best settings!), Easy Movies and Live View. And you'll get started with a quick "Part 1" overview of the Retouch Menu.

Week 3: Shooting Modes and Repeating Flash
We can select different shooting modes, depending on the situation and/or preferred shooting style. Many of you probably have a favorite working mode already in place, but consider the various uses of all modes for specific scenes and/or pre-visualized images. Learn about the D800/D800e's great onboard flash unit, and discover Repeating Flash: a favorite and creative way to use flash!

Week 4: OK! Time to Get Out of the Box!! Multiple Exposures, Image Overlay, and 'My Menu'
Two very cool, fun, creative, and immediately rendered in-camera effects are the Multiple Exposure and Image Overlay Functions. Also featured in Lesson 4 is a rundown on a little-known and immensely helpful feature: My Menu.

I must say I was surprised by the content of this course; very limited and too simple; and it cost $200. I have several of Tony's DVD's and anticipated this course to be in line with the great content on the DVD's; disappointed with the course.
The photo comments were general, I wanted an opinion and suggestions for making the photo better. I wanted to learn how to use the D800 from a pro. I bought a book for $25; way more useful.
Based on my experience with this course I will not spend my money on another course with Better Photo.
