POTD emails?

Is anybody getting POTD emails? I haven't gotten any in a long time and never would have known I got the POTD today and another one recently if not for comment emails!
I know I signed up to get the POTD emails.
I also clicked on My Messages, and there is no new messages since 2020...no updates. No POTD weekly emails either.
Just a glitch or is nobody getting them...

I get them every day although the last time mine was chosen, I didn't get the announcement email ahead of time like I used to, just the one that everybody gets, or is supposed to get.

10 days later and still no answer from BP staff...I sent an email asking about it, also a message on the FB group and the old forum...I would love to get the emails if others are getting them...I enjoy seeing what other members are posting and navigating the BP site is frustrating

Can you whitelist betterphoto.com with your email provider? I know yahoo too often rejects emails to me and the only way I know is because they are forwarded from my gmail address and I get a bounce there saying there was a refusal from yahoo. May not be the problem, but something to try.

Hi Janet, I already did that...almost 3 weeks later now and still no answer from Jim or staff...

No other ideas. I'm having trouble with the website now, even using the private window. Still getting emails, though.

Does anybody on the staff even look here? I am not complaining about getting yet another POTD, I feel honored to get them, but it sure would be awesome if I could get the emails notifying me I got one. Hey Jodice. Did you ever get your issue resolved with getting POTD notifications? I've been having a heck of a time with my BetterPhoto emails getting routed to spam (at yahoo.com mail). I missed months of notifications, because I don't usually check my spam.

I think I finally figured out how to "whitelist" at Yahoo, but I had to resort to googling it to find a resolution that worked.

Meanwhile I've had pretty good experience emailing BP directly when I've had issues, though they seem pretty busy.

Yes these spammers have made it difficult for all of us. In the war, email providers have sometimes been too aggressive in their efforts to block them.

I am working on a few initiatives for ways to improve notification. A better world is ahead.

Turns out I spoke too soon. Back to most (but not all) emails from the site going to spam. I just have to remember to check, I guess.
