2023 Summary

Does any body else track their Better Photo entries? I have a spreadsheet, it is interesting to look back month-to-month and year-to-year to see how active I am, and how "successful.

For 2023 I entered 132 photos, about 2.5/week. Of those, I had no First Place, 5 second place, and 21 finalists. I feel like that's pretty decent, maybe one of these days I can earn a First!

Hey, Larry! I viewed your Gold winners and commented on a couple of them! Just keep plugging away and you will get that first 1st.
I have been around for a few years. Over 20 here over 80 in this life. I have reached all but one of my goals here. I still need to win the top prize.
If you can share, I would love a copy of your spread sheet. I have a Mac.

I have quite a few second place but nothing above that = don't know when that will happen..

We just keep striving to improve, and we’ll get there. Looking at the photos that make 1st, I sure can’t complain! They’re all so good.

There's a lot of professional level photographers in this group, I know one of them personally. That is the way it is in camera clubs as well, all levels belong and compete. I have to find that unusual photo that tells a story. Off to Wyoming and Montana this month with my props so am hoping for the winning shot then!!

Wow, Wyoming and Montana! That should provide some nice photo-ops! Hope you find lots of perfect places with perfect light! Will look forward to seeing your results!
