For each image, include the following:

  • Title noting which technique/concept the picture depicts.
  • Description including the technical data (f/stop, shutter speed, ISO), plus any other facts/comments that you would like to share about the photo.
Note: Photos submitted for this exam can be previously shot ones (i.e., from your gallery, from classes, etc.), or new images at your discretion.
  1. Panning: (2 photos) Submit two images demonstrating panning during exposure, creating artistic/unique composition.
  2. Timed Exposure: (2 photos) Submit 2 photos at twilight or at night demonstrating timed exposure technique (i.e., available light - no flash!).
  3. Stock Composition: (3 photos) Include three images composed using stock photography concepts. These can represent any subject, including those outlined in the Stock course (such as travel, love, workplace, business, environment, and others).
  4. Wide-Angle Composition: (2 photos) Submit two photos demonstrating the creative use of a wide-angle focal length: one wide-angle composition in a vertical format, and a second one in a horizontal format. For each image, you must have a close foreground subject.
