Hi - I'm Jim Miotke and I would like to welcome you to BetterPhoto.com! If you love photography, you've come to the right place! My wife Denise and I, along with our great team of friends, have been running BetterPhoto.com for over a dozen years. Denise and I are both photographers, and our three children are our favorite subjects. But above all our shooting, our number one hope is that BetterPhoto will help you say "YES!" to your creative dreams.

Denise Miotke is the quiet co-owner of BetterPhoto.com and has been developing the site as well as photographing with Jim Miotke for over 15 years. She loves visiting and photographing lovely places, writing, eating delicious foods, the very idea of creativity, raising her three darling children, and exploring the connection we have with people and places throughout the world. Kerry Drager
The content manager and course advisor for BetterPhoto.com, Kerry Drager is also the co-author (with Jim Miotke) of two books: The BetterPhoto Guide to Creative Digital Photography (2011) and The BetterPhoto Guide to Photographing Light (2012). In addition, he teaches this online photography course at BetterPhoto: Creative Light & Composition.Be sure to check out Kerry's Pro BetterPholio website - www.kerrydrager.com - and his instructor bio page.
