A study in Grayscale Zones. On a bright afternoon with high contrast the sun backlite the Spanish Moss perfect on this tree in a Southern Cemetery. First processed RAW image in Aperture 3 then using the Silver Efex Pro 2 made the conversion to B&W. Using the global adj, tonal protection and levels and curves I was able to get all 11 grayscale tones verified in the Loupe&Histogram (0-10) If you have not used this tool in Silver Efex it is very helpful. Added two frames in CS3 for impact.
