Driving back from Dickinson on interstate 94, I saw smoke ahead and when I got close to see what was burning I pulled off on the shoulder and started to take photos. I watched as the fire got closer and the flames
leaped up in the air. When this image was taken, the flames were roaring towards the interstate. I could feel the heat, ashes were coming into my vehicle, and grasshoppers were coming into the vehicle to escape the heat. It was a grain field being harvested that was on fire. Just after I left the scene, law officials closed down both lanes of the interstate due to rhe heat, flames and smoke.
