A roper recoiling his rope after catching a calf and dragging it to the branding fire. I think the effect resembles infared.

Black and white image that I added the color foil filter from PaintShop Pro X4. I'm new to all these photo editing programs and trying them out. I'm having fun doing it although I can't get some filters to work the way I want them.
