Canon EOS 40 D, Portrait Mode, TV 1/800, AV 2.8, Evaluative Metering, ISO 100, EF 100MM Macro, Focal Length 100.0mm. This picture tells the story of the relationship between man and wildlife. The Saker Falcon has worked with this falconer for 10 years and when their eyes met I could feel the depth of emotion felt for each other. They are true friends and trust each other. The only compositional rule this picture fits is Breaking the Rules - it just is. I cropped out this really huge man to the back of the falcon. I believe I am much better now at composition than last December. This is my favorite picture of all.
