“Bird on a Wire” by Karen Kessler.

I've seen a large number of Blue Jays in my yard this spring (or the same one over & over - ha!) and actually got some decent photos of this one.

The original was shot in RAW, where I made some adjustments using PS CS3. Then I picked a color from the background for the frame. I first blurred the area of the frame with Gaussian Blur, then used a Grunge brush over it. Topaz DeNoise removed the noise from the photo. This was one of my first attempts at framing like this!

Original settings: 1/80 sec, f/5.6, ISO 400. Hand held looking out my back window.
