“Mystical Ice Flow” by Gary Minish.
I thought I'd toss out this rather wierd image to see what people think of it. I was flying between Valdez and Anchorage, Alaska on a commuter flight and they varied from their usual flight plan to take us over the Shoup and Columbia Glaciers. I was on the side of the plane that was looking toward the sun but still made a shot at a few photos through the double pane, smudgy and scratched windows. As we passed over the leading edge of the Columbia glacier I noticed this reflection of the cloud covered sun in the unusually still water. For some scale, the larger bergs are probably a couple hundred feet in diameter.
