“Towering in Fear” by Martha Mazon.

I chose an overcast day to shoot this scene in downtown San Francisco for soft, even lighting. Then I added a blue sky in CS5 and made white balance and color corrections to simulate bright daylight conditions. In the end I thought the mood was a bit nightmarish, hence the title. Following the edits, there were some digital artifacts in the sky area so I smoothed them out using an average blur.
