This is an edit of an earlier posting titled "Mile 16". From a series of images taken at a local marathon event from a railroad bridge over a recreational trail which made up a good portion of the coarse. I wish to credit BetterPhoto member M. Baja Aksha with the suggestion to rotate to the portrait. While that idea did not seem to work that well for the "Nothing But Road" image, it does seem to work on this one. For me, this image brings to mind the lyric from the Warren Zevon song "Dirty Life and Times" - "Some days I feel like my shadow's casting me . . .".
