This is a portion of a glass plate with glass bumps on it. Three pieces of colored construction paper were laid beneath it. I thought it was interesting how the colors curved around the bumps even though the lines of the paper are not actually curved. The painterly effect of the colors is caused by imperfections in the glass---$1 Walmart special.
