Art has always been a passion of mine and I have found that you can be artistic through the lens of a camera. I enjoy capturing nature, animals, and children. I love black and white film because I enjoy working in the dark room even though I do take many digital photos.
My artist statement is as follows:Life is a journey and as we take our own journey through life we capture sights in our memories and store them there for future references. As we all know the photos we have in our memories fade and sometimes are totally forgotten. Through photographs we can visually record our journey in a way that we have experienced and seen it. Sometimes words don’t always express experiences and history without a photograph. The photos that we have stored in our memories can be refreshed through photographs.
