The main emphasis of my work has focused on the jewels of our environment in Northwest Iowa. Much of my work is aimed at the prairie and wetlands of our area in an attempt to increase awareness of the importance of these ecosystems to area residents. I feel that the wild lands of our planet are disappearing at an alarming rate and there is a great need to educate people in word and images of the special places that surround all of us.
