I actually got started in photography many years ago, 1956, with my first serious camera. It was an East German SLR. I had use of a darkroom, until I graduated from college. I abandoned photography after college, until digital photography came along in the late 90's. I went with it and have been photographing digitally ever since.
Since I am retired, I would like to move into photography full-time, hopefully continuing to photograph what I want to photograph. I currently own a Nikon D200 digital SLR.
I am widowed and remarried, with 4 grown sons, 5 grandchildren and 1 dog.
