I live with my wife, my St. Bernard and Newfoundland dogs in one of the most beautiful small, lakeside towns in America: Guntersville, Alabama. That in itself, is inspiration for photography. Digital photography is very new for me; starting in February 2009. This grew from a need to photograph old buildings that I would later draw to scale and build as finescale replicas. Replica scale structure and diorama building is still an active hobby for me, but has taken a back seat to my new interest in photography. Since my "day job" is within the wall decor industry, I have contacts with many decorative art publishers. Naturally, because I have an avenue for potential sales, most of my images are taken from a perspective of decorative arts rather than purist photography. In many cases, images found in this gallery will have a non-displayed "mate" because decorative arts are often sold as "pairs". And finally, last I want to give recognition to my friend, Judy Kennamer (BetterPhoto) for all her help. Without her technical direction, I would be lost. Judy always has the answers!
