A former U.S. Marine and Vietnam veteran, I retired from municipal government (Boston) in 2009, and am now living the good life. I enjoy art and opera (See my website www.operaonline.us)-- collect art actually -- and am now making art through my photographs.

I enjoy landscape, nature and just about any other kind of photography. I like to see and create art with my photographs. My goal is to do one better than I just did and go from there.

If people enjoy my photographs half as much as I enjoy taking them, then I consider the whole thing a worthwhile effort all around.

I shoot with a Canon SX10 IS, simple but most adequate for what I do, and now use a Nikon D5000 (18-200mm AF-S VR )and got interested from friends who are photographers who encouraged me to give it a try.
