My approach to photography could be summarized best from a quote that I read sometime back by one of my favorite photographers,
“Photography is usually looked at, seldom looked into”. ~Ansel Adams
Photography is my way of feeling, touching, and sharing what my eyes see with my family and friends. I try to capture an image that will remain with me forever; long after I have forgotten being in a particular place. It is capturing the light in a child’s eye that speaks to my soul. It is the rush of emotion that I feel when I see a beautiful sunrise or sunset or the wildflowers in a Colorado mountain landscape. It is presenting the sun’s light from the delicate petals of the smallest violet to the most aromatic rose. From the simple silliness of my fluffy sheepdog, Winston to the majestic Colorado Elk laying claim to his herd; all things captured is treasure to future generations.
My photography is the Legacy I share with others long after I am gone.
I love hiking, adore my grandchildren, and try to take life as it comes with a positive outlook and humor.
