Like many, I received my first camera as a child and was enthralled from the start photographing pets, family, friends, holidays and vacations. Photography ended up being sidelined for a number of years. When I had the opportunity to take a class on darkroom techniques, I was thrown head first back into photography ... building a traditional darkroom, developing my own film and printing images the traditional way, of course, this was all during the emergence of digital. My commitment remained to the traditional arts until 2006 when I made my first leap and purchased a D200. My journey in photography continues, from my first camera to today, a path with endless creative options to explore.
