Born and raised in Colorado with an appreciation for nature, sunshine and fresh air, photography came as natural extension of what I love to do in life. Each day, I set out with the goal of photographing wildlife, but given that wildlife rarely keep their appointments, I always manage to find interesting subject matter. This is how I started photographing wildflowers and how I stumbled on my current favorite subjects, historic barns and churches. With rare exception the photographs on my website were taken above 8,500 ft. so it seems the emerging theme of my work is "high country living"
