Kiril Kirkov is a freelance award winning Photographer, and Visual Anthropologist. Kiril is a member of the American Anthropological Association, and Phi Theta Kappa honor society. He also works as Bulgarian Folklore instructor at Coconino Community College, and he is full time cultural Anthropology student at Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff. Kiril has opened three personal photo exhibitions including 2010's, "Earth Day", held at "Earth and Men" National Museum, Sofia, Bulgaria, 2008’s, "The Treasures of the Garden", held at Sofia University Botanical Garden in Balchik, Bulgaria, and 2007’s “Out Of The Way”, held at City Library, Sofia, Bulgaria. As a former twenty-year solo dancer for the international traveling Bulgarian dance company, “Shopski”, Kiril has traveled extensively throughout Europe, including the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, France, Italy, Greece, Romania, Turkey, Spain, Poland, Denmark, Finland, Portugal, Switzerland, Russia and more. He has personal interests in cross-cultural anthropological projects, mountaineering, global wildlife and its behavior, botanical gardens, and hiking/biking. Kiril resides in Flagstaff, Arizona.
