Ok then...

I am a 21 year old photographer soon to be 22 (getting old : P) living it up by myself with my cat in Pemberton, South West, Western Australia. I got started when I was thrown into photography class at high school in mid-year, year 12 not much time to learn but enough time to get me interested in continuing it after school.

Bored yet? oh ok i'll keep going then.

My first camera was the digimax 430 but after a while this just didn't cut it for what I was looking for. I saved up and bought a Canon 350D DSLR I then spent most of my time lost in the bush taking millions of photos to learn how to use these DSLR's. Then bought a bag, tripod and some lenses the Canon 60mm macro, Sigma 105mm and Canon 70-300mm and there is still a lot of photos in my gallery from when I used this kit.

Perhaps put on some music and make a drink if you like, maybe comment on some of my photos in the mean time as a break : ).

I now have myself a Canon EOS 5D and numeros lenses like Canon 100mm macro, Canon 100-400mm IS telephoto, 1.4x tele converter, Canon MP-E 65mm macro, Canon 80mm, Canon twin macro flash unit, monopod and a tripod.

My interests are mainly in invertabrets that is why most of my gear is macro based. I work at the Department of Environment and Conservation or DEC previously known as CALM - Department of Conservation and Land Management. We deal with all aspects of conservation of the environment so doing photography goes hand in hand with my work if I do have time.

So I haven't lost you yet?...

Good because this is the good bit...

My asperation or dream is to start up my own gallery and be able to live off my income from photography thats along way off so for now I am content with showing my work online and putting them up for sale in locale gallerys and enter some competitions.

One last thing I will say is how amazing everyone is on this site the community on betterphoto and support here is amazing and my photos are what they are now largly because of BP so big thanks to them.
