I was born in Bogota, Colombia and moved to the U.S. at 17. Six years later I was a proud American Citizen. Now I live in the Lake Tahoe area with my wonderful husband, David and my little dog, Tahoe.

In 2006 photography came into my life when I bought a very small digital camera. After working as an engineer for 20 years I discovered a different way to be creative. I began searching the Internet for information related to photography and found BP; that was my lucky day. Not only have I met wonderful people through it, but the learning experience of taking classes is very rewarding. Photography has become another one of my passions.
