Class?
Has anyone taken any BP classes? I was thinking about going that route but wasn't sure if it was the right course of action.-Josh Hi Josh, I took a BP class several years ago (Creating Visual Impact with Brenda Tharp). Unfortunately Brenda was leading a photo tour in Europe at the time and although she made every effort to do her critiques promptly, there were delays and I don't think she had the time to do it justice. Although I did get some good info from the course, it certainly did not meet my expectations. I suspect it would have been much better had Brenda not been traveling. So I guess my only comment is be sure that your instructor has the time to devote to helping the students! dEE
Josh, I went ahead and signed up for an Aperature class because I was having a heck of a time wrapping my head around that concept. The instructor is great, and it has been very helpful. Still not an expert but learning. I think you should just to see how you like it. You could take a 4 week class and then at least you won't have to pay as much money and it is short in case you do not like it sandi
Hi Josh, I am taking New Pro Tip Great Exposure. Is a 4 weeks course in each week is a lesson and assignment (5-4photos). The teacher critiques, and gives some ideas of different ways to do it again very friendly. There is the photo off the week. You can share more photos with the rest of the group in the Students portfolios area. The student Lounge gives opportunity to share and critique with the rest of the group. (Not a lot of activity). Q&A is not to review photos, is about direct questions. We all should take one together, will be a lot of fun. Beatriz
