Description

High Key ~ is a photography style that has very little shadows & dark tones & is very bright & gives the viewer a positive feeling. It can be in color or black & white. You can accomplish this style by intentionally but carefully overexposing the frame. With the aid of a histogram which shows the light and dark values of a frame you can push all of the dark tones mostly to the right side which is closer to white. This bright sunny afternoon was perfect for this shot yet having enough details so that the image does not appear flat. This is a replica of an old General Store from roughly the 40's-60's that a private collector has created! It is filled w/so much history. It was once a booming little community w/ a train station across the street.F3.5 1/8 iso100 @18mm
